How long would a flight to Sydney be if you lived in Chicago area?

I'm thinking of going there one day and want to know. Any tips would be helpful

  2. Yep, around 20-22 hours, depending on your layover in either San Francisco or LA (assuming you would take United from Chicago).
  3. I would assume that you would have to get a connecting flight via either San Francisco or Los Angeles so here are the estimated flight times with a connecting flight via Los Angeles. Chicago to Los Angeles is approx. 4 Hrs 18 Min, the to continue on from Los Angeles to Sydney is approx. 15 Hrs 31 Min
