  1. Although I am traveling from Brisbane to Manila to Davao return, I think I can recommend that you check out the major companies like Singapore Airlines, Philippines Airlines etc for good deals. I spent considerable time on the Net looking and although some appeared cheaper, it was only after going through the booking and paying process I then saw the taxes to be added and typically included a stop over that in some cases amounted to 26 hours of flying/travel time :-(.
  2. Qantas and Philippine Airlines. Check their websites, fares have never been cheaper. If you're flexible with your dates you can get a great deal.
  3. Malaysian Airlines are DEFINITELY cheapest Syd/Man Check with your travel agent. Cathay Pacific--who I just booked Syd/Man in Dec this year are at present, apparently --the only ones with multiple seat bookings available and my tickets were 17000 odd dollars each. Ouch! as Malaysian was offering return AU725 but outside my dates 1700 hurts! Qantas and PAL are the dearest and if you only have them as a choice, believe me--go Qantas. This time I gave Flight Centre the flick--never returned calls, seemed totally disinterested so Harvry World Travel looked after me great this time and they got the 7714 dollars business for my 4 tickets. Flight Centre just let me down once too often.
  4. I recently returned from the Phils. Flew PAL and had the booking done by Flight Centre. PAL had a promo return $708 including all taxes. Qantas had a promo $850 including all taxes but both of these are now finished. Have nearly always used PAL with the only problems being late departures but once you arrive Immigration/Customs takes about 15 minutes. PAL has the sole use of the airport. If you get on the NET you can compare air fares of the different carriers. Make sure that the quoted price includes all taxes which amount $300/$400. Some are cheaper but involve a stop over both ways, so you may be sitting at a terminal for 5 hours to get the connecting flight and with a baby this may be somewhat of a hassle.

  6. I think air asia will take u from there to bribane, melbourne, perth via KL. Tiger airways will to perth via singapore and jetstar asia as well. All of them will be cheap. Then u will have to take a domestic cheap flight from there to sydney. If u want costly then check qantas and philipines airlines. You can then try virgin blue, jet star or tiger australia. I did a lot of research and hope I helped.
