Cheapest Flights to Sydney

flights from London (any airport) to Sydney...mid March '09..?

just wanted some help in finding the cheapset flights from any london airport to sydney, australia, for mid march...maybe the 13th to stay for 15 days or so? any help would be greatly appreciated x

1. www.qantas.com They had a sale a couple of weeks ago, if you purchased a seat in economy premium economy or first class you would get another seat free, just pay taxes. I think that sale is over now but they have very good fares in general so I would check them out.
2. have you tried expedia, travelocity and opodo?
3. orbitz.com is the answer they are cheap and such a honest outfit.It shouldnt be too expensive.Certainly less than 1p per air mile.
4. The cheapest fare according to www.expertflyer.com would be Air China via Beijing. 675 USD and the airfare code is SPR3MGB2 Booking class: S
5. Letmebook.com is the place to check. They find and book it for you.
6. Qantas will have cheap flights. You will also be flying on the Airbus A380! yay
7. Don't bother with expedia, travelocity etc. They will just search for the airline ticket price, then add their own commision on top. Use somewhere like kayak.co.uk which compares all the different travel/airline sites. The cheapest I can see at the moment is £764 return including taxes/fees on Cathay Pacific. Departing around 12th March and returning 2 weeks or so later.
8. I work on airline reservations and I've just done a quick check for you.The cheapest I could find is with Air China going via Beijing. Departing 13th and returning 28th...cost is £440 plus airport tax which is £472.95.I don't know if you can get that price booking on line,but if you call Air China they will be able to tell you who their consolidator is which is who you will need to get that price.Cheapest British Airways price is £675 plus airport tax £336.80.That will be a direct flight.
